Our Dunedin-based Protective Coatings operations began in the 1980s and quickly expanded, establishing a nationwide network of protective roof coating companies from North Shore to Bluff.
In 1994, we introduced aerated concrete blocks and panels to New Zealand. By 2000, we had built a comprehensive nationwide distribution network for aerated concrete.
In 2004, we launched our Supercoat range, including acrylic textures, renders, plasters, sealers, and the “Platinum Series” range of paints.
Rinocote began when the Forde family turned their attention to refining an already successful range of roof coating products.
Originally developed by Eddie Deam in the early 1990s, these products had demonstrated exceptional performance through years of service.
Building on it’s proven track record, we set focus on enhancing our membranes systems using advanced technology and high performance materials, this led to the creation of Rinocote Roof Armour.
In 2018, our team launched the new and improved Rinocote Roof Armour Membrane Systems, a range of membrane systems specifically formulated for each different roof type, blending decades of expertise with modern enhancements.
The next generation of Rinocote Roof Armour membrane systems deliver superior durability, setting a new standard in roof protection.
